In the summer of 2020, I used my meager savings to buy a Roland Juno synth and a USB mic. I had no idea of the learning curves ahead of me.. I knew at the time the Juno had a built in interface allowing me to play the sounds from it on Audacity. I quickly grew frustrated, I needed to spend time on writing lyrics and melodies as I didn’t have any material to use. After a few years of cluttering my voice notes with ideas. I tried to record my first track for the public in January 2022. I felt incredibly confident with it. I didn’t understand my weak mix fell flat to everyone who listened. I appreciate the support of my friends who didn’t put me down at the time.
Using a distributor for streaming was expensive and I took a break for over a year accumulating random ideas that I could maybe use one day. In the summer of 2023, I rented my first solo apartment. I set up my studio in the bedroom with a one channel interface and a new microphone. Upgrading to logic helped inspire me to write two tracks. In 2024, I used all my material to piece together an EP. I still didn’t know what the knobs on a compressor do.. or that I should test my levels before recording.

I spend each summer going back to the drawing board. A car accident and miserable job in 2025 inspired me to spend hours learning fundamental mixing techniques, functions of a synthesizer, and the importance of mastering your tracks!
I have a background and degree in choral music. I work a variety of jobs and enjoy a good meal and staring at the forest…
I am based in Cleveland Ohio.
